Lorriane Webb
Lorraine was born in Barnsley to a musical family. Her love of singing was evident from an early age. Following her first degree in piano studies at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama she studied for an Advanced Diploma in vocal studies at the Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama where she graduated with Distinction. While she was there she performed in numerous opera scenes including Agathe in Der Freischutz and The Countess in Le Nozze Di Figaro and performed in many recitals and master classes. She also won the Monmouth Choral Society Prize and was a finalist in the Geraint Evans Competition. Since leaving the RWCMD she has performed in numerous recitals around South Wales and performed as a soloist with many choral societies including Monmouth Choral Society. Since moving back up north, Lorraine won the over 22 Opera Prize and Oratorio Prize in The David Clover Competition in 2011.
